Laid-Back Folk Music for TV Series
We are looking for folk music for a peaceful family centred scene set in a small British village. We want to put viewers at ease with homely folk tunes that feel warm and create a sense of calm. Our client is set on simple songs that feel slightly raw, not overly produced and have some instrumental sections. Any sweet lyrics about family or childhood memories are a bonus! We would like to pitch folk with a fairly modern feel, we do not want songs that sound too alternative or old fashioned.

We'd also like to have options that are not too Christmas-y, but rather evoke the feelings of the season - togetherness, giving, peace, love, winter, childlike wonder, nostalgia, etc. - songs that pull at the heartstrings.

Genres: pop, acoustic pop, indie pop, soul/r&b, singer-songwriter, jazz, big band. All tempos, though mid to uptempo are heavily needed. Male & female vocals.

The WOA TV Show - Certified Indie Music Videos, is a quarterly TV show, produced by the award winning WOAFM99 Radio Show and Podcast team.

We are looking for breakthrough Independent artists who have gone above and beyond with their music videos, that are blurring the lines between independent music and mainstream manufactured acts, showing fans that true creativity and real talent is to be discovered primarily in the Independent Music scene, rather than being spoon fed manufactured garbage by major labels.

The 1st show of 2024 will be launched in the last week of March. The WOA TV Show is distributed to various network TV partners of the WOA Entertainment Group who are also the producer and organisers of the WOA Music Festival in association with Vh1.

All genres of music are accepter, including Animated videos and Live Performance edited videos.
